GTM in Latin American Coatings Show 2011

Seeking to hold meetings with key suppliers and clients and to see the latest in the paint and coating industry, a GTM delegation took part in the “Latin American Coatings Show 2011,” held a few weeks ago at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

As part of the activities, GTM was a special guest at the launching of “Augeo,” an innovative solvent manufactured by Rhodia, a very important firm in the chemical industry. Additionally, the GTM delegation held several private meetings with Rhodia top executives and other sector firms. The GTM participants at this event were Eng. Francisco Mejía, Vice President of Grupo Transmerquim; Jorge Squier, President of Panachem and member of the GTM Executive Committee; Eng. César Mejía, Operations Manager of Transmerquim de Guatemala; Gilberto Mata, Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs of GTM, and Eng. Alberto Maciel, Commercial Manager of Transmerquim de México.
